FREE Liberia sees research as a major force in driving long-lasting positive change. In line with societal needs, our research is carried out through surveys, baseline and case studies, experiments, capacity assessment, impact assessment and evaluation, gap and data analyses as well as M & E among others. Particular emphasis is placed on positive research with the ultimate goal of building strengths, rather than weaknesses. Regular studies are conducted on relevant issues to spur societal growth and development. FREE Liberia’s research findings are disseminated (in print/electronic media) and/or published in scholarly journals to foster evidence-based interventions by public and private institutions, philanthropists and individuals. Our major research goal is to establish Liberia’s first academic peer-reviewed journal and a leading think-tank to promote and make scholarly literature available at minimum or no cost.
Other key staff of the entity have also published a number of research papers and articles.
